If you are like me, you get tired of walking your dog down the sidewalk and bored of standing in a dog park watching them play. Enter the Westminster Hills Dog Park. I don’t know the exact length of trail in the park, but I’d guesstimate a couple of miles. (I can spend about an hour running one of the path loops.)
While there is an area near the entrance of the park by a bridge where dogs play in groups, this park allows you and your dogs to exercise. I often go here to trail run through the small inclines. It’s also perfect for a walk. Skip watching your dog play and play when you can walk and take in the views of a Stanley lake in the South and the foothills to the West. Others are walking too, so every once in a while fido finds a friend before moving along.
